Welcome to pullinggardentractors.com. We are a pulling team located in both McCalla, Alabama and Richwood, Ohio. The southern team pulls mostly in northern Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. The northern team pulls in Ohio.
On July 9 and 10 the first annual Tannehill Garden Tractor Pull took place! In spite of the rain on Sunday, we had a great pull!! Saturday, we hooked 70 tractors. Sunday, we hooked 33! Not bad for a first pull occasion. THANKS to EVERYONE who participated to make this a successful and fun event!
Our goal is to get information about the sport out to the fans and participants. As we gather information, we will post schedules of all pulls, both north and south, rules, as well as parts available and tips on building your own pulling tractor so you can become part of this growing sport.

This first garden tractor pull took place in conjunction with Tannehill State Park's Antique Tractor and Car Show. Thanks to everyone that made the pull possible - it took a lot of people!!
Participants came from Mississippi, Tennessee, Ohio, and of course, Alabama. We pulled everything from the kid's class to the screaming outlaw class!

We hope this event sparked interest in garden tractor pulling around the area, both as pullers and spectators. This is truly a sport for everyone, from young to old! We proved that, as our pullers ranged in age from about 6 to 82!
